Is it possible to create a sdk for games that don't have them?  Like Farcry 2 for example, or Spore.

If you have the code, why not.
Go and ask the publishers.

Well, both games you mentioned do, or will, have SDK's.

Well, farcry will. Spore, probably not.

Its an EA game. An EA maxis game. Most of their audience doesn't even know what SDK stands for.

Ugh, Spore. Its like a giant kiddie pool 100 feet wide but 2 feet deep.
Anyways, don't bother with Spore snb, if you're interested with Far Cry 2, work on that (Assuming you are interested in using the SDK).

FarCry 2 was the biggest letdown of 2008.

The AI was fucking shocking, the missions were pretty much all the same and there was way too much fucking driving. Also the story was unimaginative and didn't justify calling the game "FarCry". Shame on you, Ubisoft, shame on you.

Map editor was fun to fiddle with however.

Well, it went from German Perfection (FC1) to American Noobout (FC2). What did you expect?

I expected something that would at least keep my entertained for more than seven or eight hours. I only continued in the vain hope that it would get better.

actually spore may not have a real sdk but people are modding it (maby just for code not actuall phys objects) and they have given people some things to work with.  Ubisofts far cry 2 on the other hand has given nothing to us and has not said whether they will or not give a sdk,  there are no published mods either.  I really hope they both do,  spore could become the best game ever if it indeed does get more modding support, and farcry 2 could become 10/10 worthy.

People mod The sims 2 as well.

There is a mod that adds a breast-size slider.
