Question: How do i download maps and then play on them?

I tried to download maps but they download them but i cant play on any maps that ive downloaded so the servers that have the different maps i cant play on.I tried almost everything to download them.       ???

1. Drop the stupid polls
2. You need to put them into your base folder. BASE.

This was my first time posting so it wasnt my fault i didnt know they were polls. :(

I put them under my base,BASE,folder and i still cant play on them.It didnt even work.

Post the path to your base folder please and the content of the base folder.

well if you dont know where your base folder is then i doubt you have GUID so your base folder should be (assuming your using windows) c:\program files\tremulous\base

well actually there are two tremulous folders named base  ::) . The one Zero Ame suggested is where you should put maps.

i have a mac, and i can put them in either folder and they still work...
@what ever the noob dudes name is: try turning autodownload on, then it will "auto download" the map when u go to the server playing it... gee i wonder how they came up wit that super original name for "autodownload"  :police:

Dude join a server that's running one of the default maps. and in the options menu
make sure you have ALLOW DOWNLOADS set to YES.
or in the console just type /CL_ALLOWDOWNLOADS 1
