Title: Two Types of Tournaments

I know I've suggested something similar to this before but it's a little different now and maybe it could reach out to all players of Tremulous.

You should have, 1 tournament (a week, maybe every 2 weeks) for beginner's to learn how to play properly and get better so they can then go on to joining clans, and bigger tournaments

Another one with the same or similar amount of time between like above (tournament every 1 or 2 weeks) for the more "advanced"/better plays of Tremulous who want to just have fun with other people who aren't in clans or one that isn't based on clans kicking the crap out of each other for fun or rivalry. Like, somewhere just the good people can go to get away from the clan shit that they're in everyday.

95% of newbies don't even know what these forums are, or how to use them. Plus the communities are split so far apart none of them would intertwine to participate, thanks to the open source nature of the game (it's a blessing and a curse all at once)

I wish you luck trying, but it won't ever happen.

As always, you'll have a lot higher chance of seeing this happen (and a generally more positive response to the idea) if you start it yourself. If you can do this then I wish you well!

I just hope you're not asking others to do this because you're not in a clan and want someone to set up a tourny made for you.
