I almost got into a big fight with someone over whether the 80's or 90's had better one hit wonders so I have included a few more options and am putting it up for an official tremulous vote!

They both had about the same, I'd say.

Thus, I cannot vote.

I, too, chose the decade when I was five years old. Unlike all of you dewdz, though, it was decidely NOT the 80s.

I guess you had to be there. Ask ur Granddad. ;p

Doing very well how about yourself? :)

The 80's are full of awesome one hit wonders if I may say so myself. These two are my favs:

Aha - Take on Me

Cutting Crew - (I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua26qTEK25U&feature=related

And what exactly does the 90's have in terms of worthwhile one hit wonders?

This??????

You misunderstand.  I believe Player1 was giving the 60's a shoutout, not the 90's.  Unless your 90's comment was in regard to your "big fight" that sparked the thread?

Refer to "Acceptable in the 80's"
;D Quite a tune.

I like 80s music:
Good rock
Power Ballads

(although a lot of these were made in the 70s, it seems a bit far back.)
