Hi guys    i was wondering if there is anyone out that know how to add patches to a server or is there a tutorial here ???

I am assuming you are on Linux.
If you are, just run:

Code: [Select]

man patchand it will tell you all about patch files.

In case your knowledge is VERY limited, let me explain patch files a bit more.
Patch files are quick ways to apply changes in code to an existing bit of code that you already have.
This means that you have to re-compile whatever it is you are patching, you cannot simply place it in a directory and have it working.

Another good alternative is our friend, the hivemind (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=patch+files&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=).  :police:

All this being said, I do believe this topic belongs in the "Troubleshooting" section.

also the patches are done all i need to know is were to put them patch name are : Vampire sudden death and Karma.

Erm, if you want those, they are both in Rezyn's QVM.

I would link you, but I'm afraid I've forgotten how to get to the page.
Prehaps you can just ask him, as you play on the server he administrates.

Also, try not to double-post, it is frowned upon in most communities.

i did ask renzy :|. he hasnt released hi qvm to me yet thats y i want to add these pathes
