Title: What to know for a lan server?
Post by: lag on February 25, 2009, 11:28:39 PM
Hey all

My school is putting on a lan party and we're playing tremulous since most people are familiar with quake 3.  I've never played tremulous before, though I have experience with quake 3.  I found the args to start a dedicated server in the FAQs and grabbed some custom maps, is there anything else I should know about/need to do to the server before the party?

Well, one thing most people miss is the proper set_dedicated setting.

I believe 1 is for lans, 2 for internets.

Could be the other way around. Really havn't set it in such a long time...
