Hey guys, trying to get a working version of iTunes on an older mac. The version of the computer is 10.2.8, and I can't find any working download link for a compatible version (3.0.1 - 6.0.5). I'd really appreciate any help here. :advmarauder:

Itunes will burn you eventually any ways, not much point in using it.
Anyways, 10 seconds of googleing turns this up:

Thanks for trying, sir, but I wore that site the heck out and it never gave an active link :(
-
http://download.oldapps.com/iTunes/iTunesSetup6.0.5.exe (http://download.oldapps.com/iTunes/iTunesSetup6.0.5.exe) ?
-
Heh, last I checked, .exe files are for Losedows...

-
Oh, yea...
EDIT: 30 more sec of googleing.

How can you people use Mac and not know about VersionTracker?
http://www.versiontracker.com/

or you can always switch to the best mp3 player ever made (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16855507008&nm_mc=AFC-Smarterdeals&cm_mmc=AFC-Smarterdeals-_-MP3+/+MP4+Players-_-Centon-_-55507008)

/facepalm
iTunes, not iPod.
-
Way to fail!
Anyway, you can find just about any old software on the webz. I once downloaded MacPaint to impress my friends with my knowledge of emulators. ::)
-
that mp3 player doesn't require itunes it works like a flashdrive.
-
Much like most other PAPs.
-
but ipods don't
-
Fuck this topic, bitch I was trying to help played me anyway. >.>
Thanks anyway guys.

That's besides the point. The thread is about iTunes, not an iPod.
And anyway, there's a reason iPods are so popular. They are the easiest mp3 player to maintain, and they can play just about anything.
They have a large screen with an easy to use interface, come in sizes no less than 4gb and are fairly inexpensive considering the quality of the goods.
Not to mention that they are covered by Apple's marvelous AppleCare program.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go pick up my cheque from Apple.
-
...and are fairly inexpensive...
Not true.
-
Ooh, selective omission, nice one Moose. ;)
-
Well ok, "considering the quality of the goods."
The song quality? No it's the same.
The storage capabilities? No, you can easily find cheaper products with the same storage abilities.
The touchscreen? Ooh wow, I can touch things... Besides the fact that the basic touch screen is over rated, I can find many touchscreen mp3 players.
What else? People can use apple products if they want, I don't care. But stop trying to act like it's cheap.
Bottom line: it isn't.
-
Hey, I'm not really into Apple stuff anymore either... Linux is free and it works great. What more does one need?

-
Well yea, should probably not derail this dead thread anymore.
-
It's already Off Topic, anyway.

Shining Time Station is Thomas The Tank Engine.

Euros just had Thomas the Tank Engine. Noob Euros.
We later got Thomas and Friends, which I'm pretty sure was fully animated.
