The outline is a bit messy since I scanned a drawing in and didn't really touch up the lines.

:D :D :D
It looks like someone ate too many blobs in their base in one sitting.
Nah, no need to hate the granger, amrite? All it needs is some love.
Or a fucking salad...
Goodjob with the picture, what program did you use?
Mirrored for the hell of it: http://mirror.syntac.co.cc/Granger_shaded.png (http://mirror.syntac.co.cc/Granger_shaded.png)
( Yeah, I'm mirroring everything in sight. So what? )
I use Corel Photopaint 11. It doesn't have as many options as Photoshop does and it can get very glitchy sometimes, but it gets the job done.
Bah. Go learn GIMP, you wuss. >:(

FINE! MAYBE I WILL! D:<
Edit: GIMP won't install properly on my computer. I've tried several times. I think it hates me. :(
Damn, that sucks. I guess you have to go back to using the Man's software. :'(

Pffffffffffffffftttttttt, someone has gone soft while banging the nurses, eh?
Children is the way to go.
Speaking of soft, Winter stop being soft. Grab DOSBox and TDraw and then you'll be makin' pictures like the pros.
No, I'll just go back to MS paint. That's where it's at, right? ::)

awesome :D
I used to use MS Paint. I felt other programs were awkward. These below were done a year ago, using only the spray tool.

Then I tried GIMP and haven't looked back since.

Did that just now in GIMP using the airbrush over my skull picture.
Edit: Although...
Since you're just Cel shading, MS paint is fine and dandy.

I hope you go and study arts. Because if you don't.. come here and let me slap your head for ignoring your talents.

Truths.
Me or him?
Well I've never considered drawing to be anything more than a hobby for me. I might put more time into it in the future- when the bottom falls out of this maths degree I'm currently studying for -but this won't be anytime soon.
Anyhow, if you enjoy it then do it. Don't let a little thing like a lack of technical expertise discourage you, that's what I say. ^^

Ooh, maths! You take pre-cal in high school? What was your mark?
Oh, and that is an EXTREMELY good fallback plan. You could create a whole 2d portfolio using MS Paint. That is some serious talent.

I find that hard to believe. especially in this economy, but the talent is still there.
That talent could start him on a variety of career paths, and, many other students' portfolios would pale in comparison. He'd be able to get a job, is what I mean.

Now
that's pixel art!
I'd put it down to enthusiasm more than talent personally but it's nice of you to say so. :)

I'm glad you like it!
In an attempt to keep this thread on topic here's a cartoon granger wearing a bandana and domino mask.

Well since I live in the UK I can safely say that none of that applies to me. :]
Let's just say I didn't do TOO badly.
