Title: Vocals
Post by: Archangel on April 07, 2009, 06:57:32 pm
Hello folks, anybody with a mic that's even remotely decent mind trying something out for me?

I need you to sing the two following lyrics:
Code: [Select]
FLYING TO THE SKY
SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT

Put your own inflection onto it, show me what you got. Record two or three in different styles. The end result is going to be for a trance song most likely (although that might change), so preferring something like a declaration/with power.

I might give some sort of gift to whoever's clip I choose, not sure yet but it's definitely negotiable.

Just basically, give me something, and I'll direct you if I like what you can do. I don't even have the song yet, since planning will focus around the actual vocals.

You can use wine. It works fine, except, if you have PulseAudio running, you have to shut it down.

Its what is supposed to replace ALSA. It allow you to individually control the sound apps. For instance, you can lower Tremulous's volume while keeping the volume of your music player the same.

Copy that. I'll set them as 4/4 (common time) & C-major (the sunniest of all keys) for now. Let me mess around w/ GB for a day or three and get back to you.
