I've downloaded some textures I want to use, where is the texture directory where I can add them? I did a full computer search and it's nowhere to be found.
-
you make it
-
Could you explain?
-
you make the directory, you create it in the same directory as the rest of your tremulous files. not difficult to understand, is it ?
-
Ok, don't have to be an ass.
I'm pretty computer savy, so It's not difficult to understand but you're not very good at explaining. "You make it" doesn't say anything. It doesn't answer 'what' or 'where'.
Texture load failed: "textures/base/BrickOldSharp0198_L"
The file is a jpeg, but I'm not familiar with this .pk3 stuff (or anything 3d really) so what do I need to do to make this work?
-
C:\Program Files\Tremulous\base, and than you create a new folder called 'textures' and inside that folder you create a new folder called whatever you want, and you place your textures inside there.
-
Thank you very much! That worked great :D

:)
Glad Moose could help you.
Instead of starting a new topic for every question you have, why not ask them here (http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=10699.0).

The answer to that question was in the topic Winnie just posted.
If you are using windows then go to C:/Program Files/Tremulous/Base/Textures and create a folder and put you textures in that folder.
