Title: [Solved] Blank Menu Screen
Post by: Epic* on July 11, 2009, 08:15:22 am: Well, I was working on my HUD, and Idk what happend, but here's the story. So I finished updating my HUD...then my clan told me to come practice scrim, so I did. But when I opened up Trem, I seen the default background with no:

"Play button"
"Mod button"
"Options button"
"Credit button"
"Quit button"

Everything was invisible. Now your thinking I did something to the HUD to make this happen, well I didn't.
Soo...I copied my base folder to back it up then I uninstalled Trem. Downloaded it again then installed. After that was completed, I installed my HUD and went on playing, everything was back to normal except- I had gotten the "YOU MUST INSTALL THE TJW/BACKPORT TO RECIEVE ADMIN" So I logged off, and went to replace the "tremulous.exe" with the tjw-"tremulous.exe". Then I log back on and the main menu had gone back to the default with nothing on it! So obviously it wasn't my HUD, its the Tjw backport or something else in the Trem folders.

PLEASE HELP/REPLY ASAP

Post by: kevlarman on July 11, 2009, 07:05:56 pm: you screwed up your hud, updated clients put their files in a different place than 1.1 on windows, type fs_homepath in console and remove your broken hud files from that location.

Post by: Epic* on July 11, 2009, 07:37:40 pm: Well I got rid of the all of the HUD files they work fine...But after I moved them to my desktop I put in the tjw's backport and the screen went blank again with no options...and I remember before this happend I went on to JJosh's Dev server and canceled the auto download since I did'nt want to wait that long, could that have sparked a problem? And if it did where could his file be located? I have checked my base folder and I haven't found it.

that just told me where the files are...and more help?
