Title: Warnings
Post by: Lachu on July 11, 2009, 10:20:13 am
When we playing team we don't have more time to send message like: "Behind us!" . It would be great that game would do this automatically. When human player point at enemy it will appear on screen(radar) of ally. I know it works kind of alien ability or human radar, but it requires to point at enemy.

Second think is to have small camcorder buildable  far to reactor. It needs battery, so constructor must travel to it by time to time.

What about using binds to talk quickly to your teamates  ::)

And as far as little cam corders go...

I'm sure you can hear rets shooting and goons screaming pretty far away. On big maps it would be nice though.

If your reac is damaged there's already a 'base is under attack' message that's flashed in the middle of the screen.

In ETF, the engineer was given a camera view from the turret.

It murdered the framerate.

Mappers can include cameras (See Pulse for example), though as kozak6 said they can be detrimental to frame rate.
