Title: Please help me super ungodly noob. . .
Post by: sir_vival on July 31, 2009, 04:41:20 pm
Never played/heard of tremulous until now. . .

I'm learning to use GTK radiant to make maps (for quake III arena. . .I know. . .dude. . .I know. . .) and I just get so confused. . .well. . .before I even go any further into detail, I'm going to let this statement sink in a little and if someone who thinks they can help me is willing just post a simple "please continue." I'll be back later to go over everything bothering me. . .

and if you already see where I'm going wrong feel free to link me to some better stuff. . .

thank you in advance. .

Read Ingar's post.
It means so much more.

In fact, pretty good for all new mappers. My advice is completely obsolete :)

When I started playing tremulous, I said to myself: I want to make a Tremulous map.

I had to learn Radiant, had to read a lot of tutorials, and I made about every noob error you can read about in the forum, but in the end, I made a map. And it was lots of fun.

It all comes down to Inner Strenght: you need to find the will to keep going.
If you set a goal, the path isn't always clear, but as long as you keep going you will
eventually reach your destination.

Therefor, I won't say Please continue,
I'll say Keep going.
