Title: Random Music?
Post by: someonenotimportant on November 29, 2009, 10:45:23 am
This popped up on my tremulous screen and there was random music playing...How did he do it?

edit:// He told me how to stop it. It involved the command /voip and /cl_voip. Was all new to me.

That would be voip. (Voice Over Internet Protocol) With tremfusion you can hear other people who have tremulous voip set up speak over the server.

Here you are. (http://www.tremfusion.net/wiki/VoIP_Setup_Guide)

You can reply here if you have troubles, though I suspect you may find better help at the Tremfusion Forums (http://www.tremfusion.net/forum/), as that's more specific for your need.

Keep in mind, that there are many alternatives that you might want to look into also.
I use mumble (http://mumble.sourceforge.net/) as many other people do, and teamspeak (http://www.teamspeak.com/) is another option.

Both of which are useless in public games.

Also, playing music over VOIP is annoying (and probably poor quality too).  Do we have !mutevoip yet?

Yeah that guy is annoying... >___>
I just do "/voip muteall" to stop it.
