Is there anyway to disable global talk for the client? I don't mean disabling it for the entire server - I mean just so I can't read it.
It seems global talk is just a way for kids to flame people, be general asses, or spam my screen full of nonsense. I've never read anything positive on global talk [edit: in the servers I usually play on] and I'd rather just not see it. Also the constant beeping gets annoying when I'm listening for enemies.
If there isn't a way to disable global talk, then at least is there a way to turn off the beeping noise?
If the feature to turn off global talk isn't available, I'd like for it to be added in a future release. I bet a lot of other people would also appreciate it.
Edit: Thanks Basilico. I had forgotten about that one. I tried it before but that was an older version of Trem. Maybe it'll work now. :)
Glunnator - what server would you suggest? The only server where I've seen friendly things on global talk is AKKA when the Finnish people are playing, but that's in the middle of the night for me. (I'm not Finnish by the way.)

No offence, but then i think you might want to find a friendlier server.
