Hey guys I'm new to Trem. I play RuneScape and I am a runescape clan also... Anyway I got a question IS TREM AVAILABLE FOR VISTA?

I use to play trem on my laptop but it broke so I can't play anymore the computer I am on is crap so I can't play tremulous ATM. But getting a new laptop at Christmas hope to see you all there.

Yes, Tremulous works for Vista. I can confirm that, though I'm using 64 bit, I see no reason why it shouldn't work anyways.

Ah, Runescape, so many hours wasted clicking on lesser demons and whoring for blank runes on my 640x480 screen with a couple of my friends.
Now I waste my hours clicking my cross hair on dretches and whoring for kills on my 16x9 screen with a couple of noobs. Times change so quickly.

Yes, although I don't use it seeing that I'm on a mac.  (I can't remember if you have to patch is, but I know it can be done)

Best of luck,
Kiwi

Welcome to Tremulous, enjoy your stay.

And yes, Tremulous has a rather decently sized Tremulous community. (http://www.xfire.com/communities/tremulous/)

Quick comment about Vista. It doesn't happen for everyone but if you have problems with brightness and get an error about "device gamma ramp" something or other, just run Tremulous in Windows XP compatibility mode (right click, properties, compatibility).

Good luck!

Played some runescape years ago, but i was a total noob. Was a bit of fun. :)
Welcome to the forums, and I hope you enjoy Tremulous. You picked a good game to begin playing, better than RuneScape imo.

I never really got the whole Runescape thing, though I'm now pouring vast amounts of money straight into Blizzard's bank accounts....
