i think this game needs spawn timers, meaning the more times u die the longer u have to w8 to spawn. i was just in a game of 8 people, where 2 team m8 (mr.wax and unnamed player) managed to feed the humans to stage 3 in under 6 mins. unnamed player left after awhile but mr.wax keep doin it even after i told him to stop.
sumary: i think at spawn timers will reduce feeders and hopfuly make them leve if they have a 30 sec w8 time.

let's see, iirc there's a 10 second spawn cooldown already.
People that die a lot, like in endgame base defense would have to wait even longer to get back to defending the base. Especially in small games this would cause enormous advantages for the other team.

I agree that longer cooldown would reduce feeders.
About base defending - if the buildings are under attack cooldown could be shorter. it could be shorter if you died from teamkilling

i see ur point about base defending, but then again ive seen drenchs die by a flamer, but they will try and try again, its like they dont learn that drench cant beat a flamer, unless they are very lucky.

Yeah.. flamer = dretch killing machine. I can just sit back and watch them run in like they think they are made of magic and THIS time will be different.
I just think there should be a priority to the queue maybe... where if you can't stay alive, you can enjoy the back of the queue.. where as if you die only occasionally you get stacked in the front...

Seconded. It's a more rational method - no need to punish players just for the sake of it. If they are not smart enough to stay alive , chances are they are not smart enough to figure they take longer to respawn because they die a lot :P

To reduce feeding one just builds less spawns, or deconstructs spare spawns. Having one spawn greatly reduces feeding, and does not require additional coding. Problem solved.

Except having less spawns doesn't descriminate feeders from peope who use restraint..
I just hate it when i'm playing and a few people start feeding and clogging up the spawns.
