When I make a shape It doesn't show in the gridded space, it remains blank and it's very inconvenient, like you could see in the picture with the circle in it, the shape didn't show up.

How can we fix it so that each shape made, shows up on the left side?

Net Radiant/GTK Radiant? What OS? You sure the brush is in the area shown on the grid? In preferences->Orthographic check 'Display size info'. In Misc menu->Colors what color are 'Default Brush' and 'Selected Brush'? You can press 9 to only show bigger lines on grid and then zoom out (mouse wheel, use 1-9 to change grid size, and 0 to show/hide it). Are there any errors in console (press 'o')? Something here ought to help...
Btw: in preferences->Brush check 'always use caulk for new brushes', and if Net Radiant then in pref->Clipper check 'Clipper tool uses caulk'.

- Gtkradiant
- Windows
- Orthographic check doesnt show the shape itself, only the size
- only error is WARNING: OpenGL driver reports support for GL_VERSION_1_2 but does not implement it
Edit~: My Z-axis isn't on the left side of the grid either.

View-->Filter
Make sure nothing is checked. This can happen if you like pounding keys furiously. (Personal experience.)

The shapes still don't show up in the grid

Then it wouldn't be visible in 3D either...
Cannon: you could try getting NetRadiant.

Is NetRadiant any better then gtk? Whats the difference?
-
As far as i know its same code, but fixed and improved by community. GTK outdated long time. Net Radiant fully supports trem (and not only). I think its best choice for mapping at this moment. =)

I'd install it if I knew where to put every file.
~Update: I installed Netradiant perfectly fine and it gives me the same problem. The shape doesn't appear on the grid.

Seems its video drivers issue then. NetRadiant just should work prefectly.

What video card and what OS?

My computer is quite old, so it might be my videocard after all. I will verify with my laptop and see if it gives me the same problem and report back when it's complete.
