Title: Want to actually play the game but cant find games

I got the latest thing the beta for the next version and i thought people would be on that but when i go to to play i just cant find games.i switch between lan internet and the other stuff but im confused as to how to even use this game!it looks really good....im using mac os x.if i figure out how to do it ill post it here.thanks to those who help me!

Im pretty sure that's not the case, but did you try to click Get New List when in Internet tab? I'm 80% sure it does it automatically while changing the source, but worth a try. I know there were few other people experiencing this issue, not sure what was the problem and how did they fix it because I wasn't really following the discussion (never had that problem myself). Searching won't hurt anyway. You can also try this online server list http://master.tremulous.net/list2/ - just copy the address, then open the console in game (by ~ button, but I'm not sure it's same for macs) and type

Code: [Select]

/connect [address]

try putting this in console:

/sv_master1 69.175.114.216:30700

The server changed ip addresses a while back.

And the DNS changes propagated within hours.  If your DNS is that fucked that it's showing month old entries then you got bigger problems than trem.

My bet is the firewall is blocking it.  Also, hit get new list and then open the console, it should print a line or two about how many servers etc etc.
