Title: Possible to play with two people on one IP address?
Post by: CryoStatic on April 25, 2010, 07:55:14 pm
I just downloaded Tremulous on my brother's computer, but it doesn't seem like we can play together. The server he's on doesn't show up on the server list, and searching his name returns nothing. This also happened to us when trying to play Wolfenstein together. Is there any way we can possibly play Tremulous together online?

Sorry about this double-post, but it doesn't look like I posted this in the correct section. Could someone move this into the troubleshooting section? Thanks.

I've already tried to search, but maybe I'm using the wrong words. I'll try again

Be careful though because patches exist which keeps more than a set amount of players from connecting from a certain ip.  So try connecting to multiple servers before you starting playing with your router settings.

You could also set up a local server! Its easy and is faster if you have high ping.

Yeah expect than you have a 1 on 1, which is stupid.
