Any alien should be able to teamkill a marked buildable and have the points return to the que instantly, or that's how I understand it. However, I have found (and this is easy to test) that the building's points do NOT return properly unless the building is marked after it has been destroyed and starts to shrink. I'm sure this isn't what was intended. It means that a granger must still be present every time a structure is tk'd so that the points return. To test it now, just log into an empty match and grab a granger. Build a bunch so you know how many points you should have left over. Now mark a building, and kill it. The points won't return. Now go to another building and kill it. Don't mark it till it's HP goes to zero, however. You will notice now that those points will enter the que immediately, in the proper fashion.
Just think of how many matches we've lost so far, cus we thought we were doing it right :P
1.2, obviously.

I never noticed, although that's not surprising considering I rarely play alien. One other thing I do not like about marked decon is that you can't straight up decon if you are on creep or within repeater/RC range. I built a barricade on a stairway and then realized that the tilt of the stairs made it so that I could not get my granger to jump high enough for the barricade to do its shrinking thing. So I could not get back up to the platform until I TKed that barricade.

Forced decon would be a nice feature to have as a command...
As for on marked, I've never noticed that...always seemed to work right for me...must be a bug.

It would appear to be a bug, yes.

Aren't there BOTH commands in some mods? I mean you can decon OR mark decon? This would probably be the most useful.

Well this is a problem that negatively affects aliens in almost every match, so I hope it gets fixed soon.

BP from TKd structures is returned instantly since last month, regardless of whether or not they are marked. The proportion returned instantly versus queued is dependent upon how much of the damage to the structure was done by teammates versus enemies.
This was changed in revision 2001, during the duration of the current phase. Compile from svn or just use the vms from the official servers to see the change.
