Title: Client keeps freezing

In the middle of playing a game it will completely freeze for about a minute with the sound skipping. The longer i play the more it seems to happen.. at first i thought it was lag but its obvious its the game at this point. I tried reinstalling the game but to no avail.. has anyone experienced anything like this? I'm using windows XP.

I did once. Then I learned not to run buttloads of stuff in the background.

Yeah i don't. Theirs nothing running but avast! anti virus which uses little resources.  ::)

Try disabling avast. Anti-virus software is never the way to go- haven't you seen Tron?
