Does anybody know what program...How can I do it.. I have mac and a pc that I really dont use. I use blender for other things but I want to start making maps... :'(

You can make the maps in blender and export them to quake 3 format.

You can use gtkRadiant or netRadiant. They are essentially the same thing I don't know of any differences (gui matches and everything). The difference is gtkRadiant doesn't work on linux or vista and I don't know about mac but netRadiant does.

Uhm gtkRadiant works quite fine on linux and I would assume (although cannot be sure) vista too. However it is deprecated by the existence of netRadiant.

The instructions in this thread got NetRadiant working for me (on snow leopard). I've not really done much more beyond that, but I hope that link helps.

Perhaps you've got the magic distribution but I haven't seen one forum post in my search to get it working (on linux or vista) where anyone actually found a solution.

Netradient is by *far* the easiest and fastest way to create a map. You can read about it here (http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=4640.0). I highly recommend using Netradient over blender.
