today i get the idea to create new texture for aliens

If you're going to do that at least make sure the white isn't a pure white. It starts to make it look like someone was bored when texturing and only half finished.

CONVERT YOUR .BMPs TO .JPGs.
Otherwise, the new ones are not bad, tho aliens kinda need to be darker imo :-/
Oh, and I think the aliens have exoskeletons.

now the adv textures work
if anyone know how to add cell-shading or have a mod for it, please tell it me, it's the last step of my mod !

I think the aliens need bit more work. For me, they don't please my eyes. Maybe bit darker -> hurts my eyes less.

Now That gots some looks.
But we all got different taste of models. And once you finished it for some mod, I suppose you do some fine-tuning on some models? Not that they don't look bad, but some minor details, that enhance the looks?

Sorry to the long time to answer, I was converting quakemod into tremmod.
But I think that the last thing this mod need is cell-shading.
If you want better graphics, don't hesitate to change them and post them here.
For make them I only use the paint mode of blender.

I think the next version will be split in two or three mod:
Portal texture mod
Halloween texture mod
?ATCS texture mod?
I'm working on the HUD and the crosshair
I think I will change some static model like the lgun or the helmet.

hello, I've created new equipments and turret models, they appear in the game but not their texture because they don't use skin files
I open the original md3 with text edit and I saw that the location of the texture is in the md3, I've try to put it into my md3 but it's not working.
If someone can tell me how to do...

has you can see I've create new turret model but the texture don't work because the indication of the directory is IN the md3
and the new numbers are reversed.

I have to say that I really don't like the look of the reac as the white just looks too plain and completely untextured. Maybe if at least something was put on the white or there was less white it might look better.

I am reminded of the Tau from Warhammer. I would be pleased if they were properly earth textured and with their proper gait and rifles.
I don't like the pure white for both teams. I am digging that humans though. Aliens look a bit rushed and unpolished.

The alien have pure white because I take my inspiration from Jack of " Nightmare before Christmas ".

It's not a bad idea and there are some parts that look nice. The trouble it's not clear and readable yet (the mara body is particularly messy). I suggest you darken the areas between bones (near black perhaps) and apply a subtle dirty gradient to the bones to darken them. If the rest of the alien is dark enough, the bones will still stand out and you won't blind us!
I don't think you need those swirly patterns either; the theme's strong enough without them. If you are going to include them, make sure they're obviously part of the theme and not just a doodle on top of it.
Anyhows, keep at it! It's always fun to see (and judge) other peoples work!
