Title: Zap Happy

Zap chain glitch, targets friendly aliens (mostly dretches) and often humans who are too far away. Does no damage, but graphic occurs. Happens most often when a human is moving out of zap range as they are being zapped. After this, zap may even chain to them from across the map, or after they have respawned, doing no damage.

this bug is in 1.1 too(well atleast later SVN's)
no clue how to trigger it or what causes it though but i have seen it alot its 1 map-long zap that connects to things like a human i have seen it attach to the rc a few times too

i wonder if someone moved the rc would it still be attached. could be a bit lame if an alien and rc is attached and rc gets moved and aliens win cause of it

I've never seen that, although I have seen it glitch and use the prifle bullet graphic instead....

Yeah, I've seen both the long zap range, and the pulse bullet instead of zap.  However they don't happen very often.

I also sometimes see 5 zap graphics to 1 target.

Additionally, the zap graphic never shows during the killing blow on a human enemy. The lighting effect may flash on the environment/human, but you never see the electricity shoot to them.

Yeah, all the mentioned bugs are here, dang, I should post faster  ;D
