Here is a map conversion that i did try to do a while back ago now that i finally got it to work. ;D 8) ;)

The outside of the map looks ehhh.. It looks plain, you should add some banners outside or some flags.. w/e! It just looks plain to me. Now I haven't tried this map yet, but looking forward to play this.

I thought it has more than enough lighting ??? What ever. :-\

The map origonally had sand dunes but I had to get rid of them in order for the map to work in Tremulous. :-\
Later im thinking about adding some thing to hid behind or in in a later release. ;)

Sarcasm detectors are a great tool to have.
The map has too much lighting and needs to have lighting that doesn't make it look like there are floodlights shining on all of it.

This only my first map conversion so it wont be perfect. :-\
I can't figure out why the light is so bright either. ???
I have tried to find ways to make it dimmer and it just ends up in darkness. >:(

It's not looking to terrible. However, you should consider spicing up this map with detail and a variety of different textures.
As you can see in your screenshots, you use the same texture to cover areas without "stretching" the image which leads to an unappealing tiling affect.Also, adding detail can break up the tiled texturing which is beneficial to the perception of this map.
What other people mean when they were suggesting improvements on the lighting is a better overall atmosphere affect. Right now, you have a basic bright box room which detracts from the overall atmosphere of the map. Also, consider that good use of light can sometimes hide bad texture work. If you are interested into turning this map into a visually appealing map that will make "your face" cry in sorrow, learn to use shaders.
Congrats on your first conversion, and keep on creating and improving your work.

Hey guys. I'm almost done with the new version of the map. I just need to figure out how to make the map darker and also put lights in areas that would need it. I'll upload it when I got it completely done.
Plus I made another version that can be used with the amp patch. ;)

where you playing the korx mod?
it dose that to that mod but not the original game.

Meh, then find a way to fix it for the KoRx mod too :'( It looks like a fun map, though the music isn't attractive :-\

i tried to fix the korx problemb but ends up the same.
also the music is the origonal music that the origonal game had
in the next version i'll try to fix them both.
