Title: Strange error: "dropping sound" & jerky performance
Post by: MechWarrior001 on August 06, 2010, 09:04:13 pm
For some reason when I use the MG's linux client the game works fine for about 30 minutes, then it drops to 70-90 frames, starts acting kinda jerky, and continually prints the text "dropping sound" on the top-left side of the screen. I'm starting to think it's because the game doesn't have enough memory allocated towards it. Any idea whats causing this?

Sounds like maybe a memleak somewhere. I'd get a condump of the details, the revision of the client you're using, architecture, build date and post a bugreport.

Ah, pulseaudio. First thing I did when I installed Fedora was remove that. What a piece of *crap*.
