Is there another way of installing the huds made by people. All I do is put the hud in my base folder like it explains but it takes no effect. (mac osx 10.4.11) Any help...
1. There is only one gpp hud
2. The hud files go in a ui folder in
Users/name/library/application support/tremulous/base

3. exec the hud install file.
If all you have installed, is gpp aka "1.2" then you cannot install the 1.1 huds.
Currently there are only two huds out for 1.2
one being Superpies
and the other being volts
Why is everyone suddenly talking about the GPP when he makes no mention of it ever in his post?

Because this is Firstinaction, and most people who follow the forum are now intimately acquainted with his system and all the issues he has had with it.

I would take a wild guess that he's playing 1.2 GPP. :)

Yeah but these are the trem forums. No one would go do that much research first.
I doubt I really researched it either.
Such spammers tend to get noticed wherever they go, though. One learns a lot of him, sadly.
But you seem to be trying to make life easier for him by helping him in a way you know will benefit him. Though for this problem it's the same for 1.1 and the GPP...
Anyway, F1rst I have a mac. Go to Library>Application Support>Tremulous>Base and put it there. Then do /exec ui/[.cfg] and that should work. You can use my hud when I'm done with it! :D

That one clearly is a regular expression.
