Hey guys,
I have never had this problem before. My friend is over and we are playing a bit of trem, but to my surprise; when he connects to a server I am on... it disconnects me. Vice versa. Any suggestions?
This is strange because I used to have 4 people playing at once on my internet. LAN as well as Internet. Not sure what's up.
Thanks ahead of time! :granger:

some servers only allow 1 connection per ip address
-
That would make sense in some ways, but... for some reason it worked in fullscreen but not in windowed. ???
Thanks for your input.

Well, obviously the same Internet. How else would you both connect to the same server? ::)
-
If it was the server it would block the second client, not the first.
It's a cheap home router with broken nat.
Start the second client with +set net_port 30721. (and change the number for each subsequent client).

Thanks David! That makes things much better. :)
-
how do you start the second client with +set net_port 30721?
-
Right click on the short cut, click properties, and then add it to the end of the command.
-
where do i add it at? when i click properties it just gives me different options to change using the program, nothing about commands.

Here's a screenshot i've scribbled on, you didn't specify OS so i assumed windows of some description.

thanks a million, that worked perfectly ;D
also note for anyone else reading this there has to be a space between tremulous.exe" and the +set net_port 30721
