whenever i compile or have someone else compile a map and i go to test it,i get an error that says
"RE_LOADWORLDMAP maps/(mapname).bsp not found!"
but it is clearly in the map file.. >.<
please help, and thanks in advanced!

1. compile ur .map file
2. be sure you have .bsp file after compilation
3. pack .bsp file into /maps/ folder in pk3
4. be sure u packed also .arena file
5. put .pk3 file in /base/ folder of trem.
if all done correct - map WILL run

you dont understand.. i've been able to make pk3's and compile bsps for ever, but when i load it up it cant find the file at all.. and if i try to run a map to test via pure map, it doesnt load

Check bsp. may be its broken or zero size. Dont htink so, but... shit happens )

thats not it.. i had three different people compile and they can run it but i cant. :/
i also get an in-gae error sometimes that says
"you may have built trem with a buggy q3map2! please be cautious"

I wont be surprised if you running your map under 1.2 trem. >.<'

i get the same error in 1.1.... yet other people can play this bsp >.<

Hmm... Dunno then. q3map2 version? may be 'project settings' reseted? Cant say w/o sources and stuff.

It doesn't matter if 1.1 or 1.2. Try /fs_homepath and place .bsp in it's subfolder <fs_homepath>/base/maps/<mapname>.bsp. Then run Trem, /sv_pure 0, /devmap <mapname>.

Only if it is not in a .pk3. If it is in a .pk3, it doesn't matter.

im having errors running test bsps locally.. i can run pk3s fine..
i still get 10940123 compile errors... but i can actually load bsps raw now.. for some reason i was setting sv_pure from 0 to 1 :P
i have a buggy Q3map2.. thats my main issue
