The SinIx Lab
i posted this on GBA forums, and people liked it. The only problems are lighting, because i cant light for beans, so if someone would do lights for me in later betas, that will be great. I made it in a week.

anyways, some glitches and stuff for B2
-someone said the prifle on the ground has invalid textures. its just poorley lit
-outside ground texture was default snow, but due to light it was plain white, so i changed it to rock
-i will try putting in a semitransparent wall around the alien base and skybox for a more realistsic effect
-ill try adding particle ejectors annd sounds
-orriginal name serious complex, and is inspired by the sirius complex by ingar after opening the .map in his .pk3. obviously not as good.

Quick-checked it and now...
Very simple map to play, for least. And the areas seems to be good for battles. But quite dull to my eyes.
More texture works and details if possible. Not meaning littering guns around.... just something more. And lighting... well. I've could done some lighting. But where's the .map file? Could done quick lights that would prove some enviroment (probably).
Well I need to see next version of your map. And maybe I could tweak bit your map. If you want it, of course. :)

what do you mean?
you mean black lighting?if so, how would you use that?
ive only been mapping for about 0.30 years or more.

i use GTKRadiant to build the map, using as one build...OH. that option says build beside it. i used meta vis light fast filter. which one do i use?

You use GTKRadiant, but it still uses q3map2.exe to build.
This map could use a number of things including:
Pipes
Light Fixtures
Less Bland Lighting
Put more time into your work.
I like the overall layout, but some of the <<ruin>> effect you're trying to apply is pretty fugly.
