Seems to have some potential!
Looks clean, I think you could keep going from this.
Although I've only dabbled with organics, never got it wrapped around my finger.
-
Hmm, it looks a little soft and bendy, the rant is a massive, powerful, heavily armoured beast, it needs good solid chunks of armour plating.

Can I has screens?

As the base mesh for sculpting it seems rather good.
But yes I agree.

Its allready over 1k, poly's, its like 1.2 even with torso and head, I'm aiming for under 4k, I have some great sketches, but my scanner is retarded and only works when you reboot it like 5 times, then scans, the replace the ink cartridges then scan again and if you're lucky it will scan...

ITS ~2.3K POLYS no armor... yet.

Don't get too ahead of yourself.
It looks good but needs a lot of work,
keep going and don't use subsurf, because when you add detail you should manually add edge loops.
Unless your going for a zbrush like sculpting work-flow.
Make the mesh "smooth" view(edit mode, select all verts then "shade smooth" or in 2.5 "smooth") and not solid if you want to see it smoother.
Solid can bring out the mesh better at times and is useful in certain situations.

Thanks for the tips... I'm working on tweaking the mesh ATM, then I plan to texture and eventually animate it, neither of which I know how to do..

Lets see... The arms could be longer, I don't think he could slice anyone with those.
The arms could also be a little thinner.
Maybe not so long legs? You could try to make the "knee" higher. Another exit is making the body a little fatter. Otherwise this model is pretty good - better than my ones :P

i like it.
except for the head, it looks like some child show dinasaur.
anyways, very good. youre getting there!
