I'm trying to get a server started up with p-g-qvm 1.6.5, but I keep getting the G_ParseSpawnVars error. I figured out it's related to game.qvm and tremded.exe not being the same, but the problem is none of the tremded.exe files that appear in Search work with this QVM. So, I need a direct link to the one that does work.

Try TJW, then Tremfusion and MG tremdeds (starting from the front)

We always used to use Tremfusion builds for the server.

check the permissions of the vm folder, if they're not sufficient, then it will default to the vms-1.1.0.pk3 qvm file which doesn't rly work on anything
you can test to see if this is the case by using sudo
