Hi i was kicked for granger building and i am quite new. I wasnt sure of what i did but he saids sumting about battle grangering.. I never left base and i wanted to help build but he just kicked me when i didnt do anything but be a granger i dont kno his full name and he was on us trem srver 1 onionofdoom he kicks me for just staying in base aas granger. I feel as that it was an abusive kick because i did not break any rules regarding staying at base. Or is there a rule that says you cant stay at base on game for granger? I feel the kick was just unfair because i wasnt harming anybody.

Hi. There is no rule against staying in your base as a granger, in fact that's mostly what you want to do. (Forward eggs can be useful, but avoid any contact with humans.) As I doubt you have a condump or demo of this, and I'm going to guess (lazy) that you were kicked for a short amount of time, I would recommend just going back to play whenever you want, and probably avoid communication with onionofdoom. There is no action that would be taken against him from just a complaint like this, but I'll remember it.
tl;dr: go back and have fun.

He did SAY that didn't he. I can't be sure since I was on the other team, but I trust Onion enough to believe he was Battle Grangering. Worth mentioning that he was also accused of bleeding.

Okay, so you got kicked because you were battlegrangering, yes? Mostly it is classified as, "feeding your opponents", causing your enemy to get frags/creds, or even stage up. Many don't like this, and would like to kick you out, includes even me, if it is intentional and heavy feeding.
And I see only one kick, something that should not cause alarm. And the ban is only for 5 minutes, so you can check your IRC or whatsoever, take drink or coffee in that time, and calm down and think, "What did I do wrong?"-question, and learn from mistakes. If the kicking is repeatable, without reason, you should then post condump, and then we can act more properly.
Should you have some playing problems, ask someone who would willingly teach you to play Tremulous (I doubt that many players are volunteering to do that, or worse, you get flamed+trolled alot). Should you just loiter around, well... Good luck on world of Tremulous.

I'm often very willing to teach newbies the basics, hell I've gotten a few to grasp the basics of dancing. This of course is only when I'm active, which isn't much these days.

This guy is not an idiot, but he acts like one -- everything he does is intentional, if he was punished it was for a reason.
