IF ONLY THERE WAS A SEARCH FUNCTION ON THE FORUMS. GOD, THAT WOULD MAKE THINGS SO MUCH EASIER. DAMN YOU DEVS FOR NOT IMPLEMENTING AN EASY TO SPOT SEARCH BUTTON IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF EVERY FORUM PAGE!

Hi,

ERROR: SV_SetBrushModel: NULL
The map has some brush ents which are only one unit thick (paper thin). I'm not sure what the minimum thickness is supposed to be, but it apparently needs to be thicker than one unit. You may also get this error when you have a brush model entity which does not have any valid brushes, i.e. a func_rotating with nothing but a common/origin brush. This could also be caused by a func_areaportal with a common/areaportal brush.

SOLUTION: In order to remove the thin brush,
1) zoom out so you overview the whole map.
2) drag the selection box to cover everything(Shift+Left M.B.).
3) while everything is selected press invert(I).
4) delete(Backspace) the thin brush.

THIS METHOD WORKS 100%

Hope this helps.  (Also, for future problems, the thread this was quoted from is stickied in the Mapping Center board, and is also visible from the search feature. :P)

Qweef, i even posted a link to common map compile errors on your thread that had another error.
And advice; this forum is highly flammable. make sure you use the search function before causing an inferno.
