Title: Server problems

I need help
first of all no one else can connect to my server (i use a router so i went to some whatismyipaddress.com website and gave that address to my friend and he wasn't able to get on)
second how do i get my server to show up in the internet search
third how can i have my server on at all times without having to have tremded.exe console on

also i have a web host can i upload my files up there or something?

1. Do you get heartbeats... do you see heartbeat messages?
2. Probably has to do with #1
3. If you want to run the game server.. not that I know.. But i'm not an authority on tremded.
4. FTP... yes.. if you have a web-host.. you should be able to upload files FTP. Get your username and password and (using.. internet Explorer... uch) go to ftp://www.mysite.com
right click the page, do login as, and enter your info...  This is assuming you have a real host and not angelfire or myspace or something..
EDIT:
I don't know why ftp is blue and is clickable.. that is weird... ignore that.

if your running a permant server, get linux.
even if you aint, get linux.

If you are using a router that usually means you have a firewall on that thing.
So in order for you to get it to work, you have to tell the router that it should forward all packets ariving on the trem-port to the trem-port of your server.

It would be much easier for us if you gave more information of your setup and especially of your router.
