Title: Wheres all the action?

I've been following Tremulous for a little while. It sounds great, looks great and i'm sure will be great. but the question I have is how many players have you tested your current code with and what machines are you running it on?  this may have been asked before, but there isn't any action in this forum right now.

Probably only 3 or 4, but we haven't really begun any serious testing yet, although that will happen pretty-soon-now(tm).

Personally I develop Trem on a Dual Celeron 550Mhz with 768Mb of ram and a 20Gb disk. The eventual "system requirements" of Trem are likely to be slightly in excess of the Q3 system requirements since we are stressing the engine a little more, but not really by much.

I got a heap of mates at the LAN event where I am who are very interested in testing the tremulous mod when it is released. between 10 and 20 ppl ready to play it on a lan. that would rawk I reckon. If your interested in a big group of beta testers, we'd be happy to help. as i'm sure would be the case for everyone else in this forum :wink:

Current build runs fine of my p3 450, 256mb ram, tnt2ultra

Thankyou, I'll bear that in mind. That said there isn't really a shortage of people wanting to test it :wink:

(and I have a GF2 GTS 32Mb, but anything from a TNT up will do)
