Title: US1 user location stats
Post by: Lakitu7 on March 27, 2011, 10:48:02 pm: Stats compiled for this phase so far, on US1. Each unique GUID is counted once. EU1 will get these stats eventually after various things are finished and approved.

There are some small bugs in this (like 2 people getting a country code of "Reno") but those are in the free geoip database and not my fault :)

Turns out almost all of the Brentwoods are from one IP; probably one guy that just changes guids every day or whatever.

Only 6 unique IPs from the Anchorage folks and they're probably the same guy too.

Yes, and that isn't the only imperfection of the data. It has been said several times it is not perfect.

No, its just the only large predominately french area. Theres smaller places where french is the primary language, but generally not a large area outside Quebec
