There are some small bugs in this (like 2 people getting a country code of "Reno") but those are in the free geoip database and not my fault :)

Turns out almost all of the Brentwoods are from one IP; probably one guy that just changes guids every day or whatever.
Some of the triplets are missing data, like all the Polish players are apparently getting lumped into one region.

Yeah, it's a free database ( http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/database/ ); not the best / most complete, unsurprisingly.
Only 6 unique IPs from the Anchorage folks and they're probably the same guy too.

No, its just the only large predominately french area. Theres smaller places where french is the primary language, but generally not a large area outside Quebec
