I remember using other quake engines and stuff like this being available... any possibilities for tremulous?

At least some kind of minimizer is already available: http://www.tremulous.info/index.php?module=archive&action=show&id=92

Winamp has global hotkeys which can be used ingame. Have mine set to home,end,pageup/down and insert.

thankyou, both great and working well :D

Another little trick to do is if you have a Sony Ericsson mobile with a data cable, you can use floAt's Mobile Agent to control Winamp using you phones keypad.
I've tryed it and it's a neat little trick (its just like using the global hotkeys though its more of a novelty really).

Might be a novelty, but is it suitable with a game where you could loose when you don't have your hands on the keyboard?

while we are at it - it is possible to run Opera and navigate web browsing by Voice while playing, that way your hands never leave keyboard and you get to hear the latest news while chomping hummies HA!

lol, can just imagine someone doing that in the middle of a battle.
But, it would do say if you were in a safe place regening a bit of health. it would only take a second and your ready to go again.
Tho obviously shortcut keys are much better.
@ rasz_pl:
lmfao, that would be so kool.
