I want my player intermission to face this sign when the map starts but I can't rotate it in gtk radiant without it disappearing or turning into a regular light.

The easiest way would probably be to put a info_notnull or a target_position at the sign and then use the intermission's target key to point to it.

Unless im mistaken, you can just use the rotate tool. Just highlight the intermission, click on rotate, then click and drag over the circles that appear in the 3d view and point it towards the sign (clicking on a specific circle will allow you to rotate in only one axis, whereas clicking anywhere else will rotate in all directions).
