Unfortunately after playing doom again today I realized that one of the goon sounds is also used in doom for imp.
( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REOtzX4KDvA you can hear it in this video from time to time )
After a research I found that they are from http://www.sound-ideas.com/
( If you call wikipedia a research, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Making_of_Doom#Sound )
Unless darklegion have a legit license, It might be better to unrelease 1.1.0.
(I don't believe they'd bother with an open source game though)
edit:
I mailed it to sound ideas. I will inform you if they reply
Read a bit and it said some sounds were actual animal sounds. This just proves the dragoon is actually a camel. I've heard many times a camel in movies, games etc. and it sounds exactly like Tremulous dragoon.
camel? probably
this guy reverse engineered doom sfx http://www.perkristian.net/game_doom-sfx.shtml
you can use it as a guide: record [animal] sounds and modify till you get the desired sound
of course it is hard to find a camel but you can record your cat for some marauder sounds :P
A human is, after all, an animal. I think I'll just record screams of my slaves.

That would lead to some pretty bizarre taunt exchanges.

a couple of my buddies are really into doom. they pointed this out to me the first time they saw me playing trem. stealing imp sounds is fairly common, really.
Yes, the first thing I thought when I came across my first few imps (having recently started doom) was "Wow, dragoons have fire barbs now"

I think you need to unrelease 1.1.0 before they take legal action.
sorry guys
I doubt that the bear will sue.

There's no such thing as "too careful" when dealing with bears.
