Are the politics hurting or helping the game?
Does it make people try harder or to leave?
Personally, I'm for it. It brings another aspect to the game. If it drives people away, they can't take the criticism.

75% of clan politics are the clans being together in Teamspeak and pretending to flame each-other ingame to confuse people like you who are not in the Teamspeak.

nah i'm talking about people leaving clans, joining others, the happenings between clans.
you can't tell me you haven't seen this happen?
to me it seems the battles between clans are not just in scrims. everyone's trying to get the best players for their clan(: this can create some odd feelings between people. and no i'm not a huge fan of multiclanning, what happens when both clans scrim each other? this is nothing against him, it's just an example, i like Longshot a lot but if eh were to scrim GT which side would he be on?
I'd want him to play with us because he's a good asset to our team but he may want to scrim with GT, or GT might also want him.

j-cool steals members from other clans every second of the day. He still sleeps like a newborn Canadian baby. The point of competitive clans is to try and get the best members and if someone leaves your clan and joins another one then that means they don't like your shit clan. Who cares about odd feelings between people, it's a game. The politics/drama don't affect the game itself. And flaming other clans/people encourages them to get better

The way the clans play affect the game, like back when a bunch of annoying clans in 1.1 converted the North American clan scene into a "Scrims are boring because of camping and crouching so I'm done" situation.
The shitty politics only affect the little children who are probably likely to back down from challenges and claim that they want to "practice" (dick around on their own server), rather than scrim, an action that makes their clan pretty near worthless to the clan scene (see 1.1's ACR).

If you aren't a child, the reason you want to scrim is because 1v1 is fucking awful unless you are devmapping, and if you are doing that, you are playing for skittles. But if you love the game and love winning, you'll have an ache to find people who resemble you and scrim with them.

Well, TOAST. You fucking idiot. I'm disappointed in all of those people who are involved in creating some fucking dumb clan ADC or whatever. We all know its going to die in 3 hours anyway, mainly because its led by a fucking clan whore. Why would you ever join a clan Playa creates? This is just another reason I stopped playing trem and scrimming.
