For those that cant hook up to the severs eaisily you should update the file that you download from the get Tremulous tab to the newest version.
The client automatically downloads the latest VMs when connecting.
If you read his post you'd see he said for people who can't connect to the servers.
Chomps: You can get them here: http://downloads.mercenariesguild.net/gpp/
Updating the main page every few days would probably be more effort than its worth.
Thank you David for reading
Another idea for 1.2:
Maby it should be compatible with 1.1 mods
(it will make KoR happy ;D )

F1. It will also 'increase' the number of servers by 98 (last time i checked there was 98 servers on 1.1). But there comes a problem, differentiating the difference from 1,1 servers and gpp. But i guess someone else can figure that out.
Also, when you install tremulous, but default, cl_allowdownloads is 0. Can you make it '1' or '2' by default, so i don't actually have to tell all my friends to go to the console and type it up?
how much years now till 1.2 is finished..
i dont think that any ideas will change anything ..
wait 5 years more till this game is finished ^^

I dunno. Maybe it would help dispel the looming idea that Tremulous is dead. Just throw the changelog on it or something.

Crap i went off topic, sorry. If you want to read, its the tiny text below.
I got a vm update problem: It cannot find the file, so it downloads the file and renames itself to some random gibberish thing.
If i look in my gpp folder, by normal means there is 6 until today, which there are 68. I just perma-delete them because they're annoying to look at and are simply duplicates. A similar thing happens in 1.1 when my internet is slow, downloading a vm12ae6.pk3 for some mod, taking 20 kbs, 15 minutes to download, i come back later, there's another vm12aeb.pk3. So i wait another 15 minutes, and another file, exactly same size, vm12aek.pk3. And it goes on. It doesn't really bother me, but it just means i can't connect to mod servers on gpp and i can't download mods in 1.1 when my internet is slow.
My computer is full of unpleasent suprises.
