My second attempt to remix Tremulous main theme. I tried to make it darker than my first one. Any feedback is always welcome. :)
Here it is ! (http://www.mediafire.com/?yk65rbdxidkdqor)
Hey, that's actually pretty good. You could use some work on the buildup, but the overall sound is great.
Since you're showing interest in producing sounds, would you be interested in contributing to the TremZ project? We're an upcoming fork of Tremulous, and you can find us on the #tremz channel on Freenode. You can read some of the story material I've written here (http://uncannygaming.com/), and visit our Twitter here (http://twitter.com/#!/uncannygaming).
Very nice!
Well worth the rare visit back to these forums for me.
Thanks, guys, glad you like it. :)

I already knew that mod, and it looks interesting but I have to say no for three reasons:
- I'm interested in composing music, not producing sounds.
- I don't feel skilled enough to get involved in a teamwork.
- I'm going to be really busy these next two years because of a hard school work.
Anyway, thanks for the proposal.
Dude that's hella tight and you've in fact inspired me to go mod a bit. That would go so perfect in an opening cutscene for a single player mission.

This is the most offensive thing i've always hated about sites. Registering.
Anyways, i later realised i remembered the ending. It didn't have one of the cool parts from the first remix though.
Yes I tried something darker for the second one. Many times, I was about to add something more epic, closer to the first one, but it wasn't the point.
I really like this; What instrument were you using for the static-like drum effects?
Sorry for the long answer (more than one year isn't THAT long though :D ). For the drum effects I used a classic rock drum kit from Reason and added some reverb and A LOT of distorsion.
you may post them at opengameart.org

No, not really sadly.

Except we just had a 31 player game a few days ago. Oh, the joy of being cramped as fuck.
I have a bit of modding and mapping experiences, if you want to ask. Its best if you contact me via IRC (#grangerhub@irc.freenode.orG) or through the grangerhub forums (http://discourse.grangerhub.com)
