Whew, yesterday I was playing on EU server and an odd thing happened. I was an alien, and after killing a few times the human newb I was teaching...
just take a look at this
http://stats.tremulous.net/tremstats/eu1/game_log.php?game_id=10058 (http://stats.tremulous.net/tremstats/eu1/game_log.php?game_id=10058)
see the ret killing him?? :o :o :o
Enjoy.
He shouldn't have gotten in the way of the turret when it was firing. They do things like that.
IIRC that used to happen more often in 1.1 as dretch's headbite used to leave the human with 4 hp. Can't really be sure since I haven't been playing 1.1 for a long time now.
Happens occasionally.

I know, but it's fun anyway. Feel free to post odds like this, or funnier.
I originally created the topic to this, to report funny things (be aware that not bugs as well), so feel free to discuss (and laugh ofc) those.
PD: I thought rets had better aim. One time I zapped a base, the front ret fired me 12 times, only 2 hit ;D
There was the time I killed someone the instant he disconnected. It said:
was mass driven by HermXIV
Had no user name for who I killed because their username had been tossed with the ent before code got there, at least I assume that is what happened.
yeah xD. I saw something like that, but vice versa:
-[Vengeance]- was caught in the fallout of lucifer cannon.
And, moments later:
(12:31)- name1 was bitten by name2 (dont remember names, i think one was lipouse)
(12:31)- name2 was bitten by name1
WTF!!!
Question: Why do people even bother teaching non-talkernoobs?
They're not going to contribute anything to Tremulous because they don't talk, and you're just wasting your time if you teach them. At least that's how I see it, I feel that only nice newbs that talk deserve to be taught.

Why?
Por qué?The reason is simple: give them a chance. If they are supernewbs maybe they
don't know what key is for talking etc etc. (have to say because it happened to me, until the 6th day of playing trem I couldn't chat :D). However, I also have to say that some n00bs (yes, n00bs, not newbs) try to herass me when I try to give them a chance of leaving alive a fight :D (aka the basics on build, mara, dertch, maybe rifle, but not :dragoon: :dragoon: because I'm horrificly horrible at gooning)
however I get 'angry' (aka permabanning with no admin right only for rage) when I hear "The :overmind: is dying!" and the one im teaching finishes her off. (happens so often)
PD:
Por qué is copyrighted (J.Mourinho : 196x-die now XD) so don't start spamming it. (madrid :police: beaters)
It might help to have a bind telling them to press T/Y to talk.

I'd love to see a dretch bitten by someone else. The only excuse i can think of is a mod. You can bite a fellow dretch using dretch secondary in my mod which is actually meant to heal yourself while doing little damage to the opponent.
