Title: Steam Greenlight anyone?
Post by: JDiTo on September 05, 2012, 02:47:19 am
Why/why not?

I'm really curious to see what everyone else thinks of the subject. In my opinion it would be a huge step in the right direction and would increase the playerbase tenfold.

Do you mean to ask if I would prefer it, or whether I expect it?

Because yes and no.

Trem's pretty old, suggesting that from the first post being in 2001. I think we should extend our lifetime until 2020 with the aid of steam. Apparently it doesnt except opensource, said someone on unv forums. Hopefully we last a whole load longer than gloom ever did.

from what I read greenlight is not suitable for free open source  games.
