Post by: Sax on October 21, 2012, 12:17:06 pm
Hello, Just started playing Trem once more but for a reason i know not it keeps crashing, I get a message of "Invalid size 254 for areamask DATA2"
I have tried diff backports but the same keeps happening. I have not change trem on my PC since i last played on it, Everything was fine a few months ago,
Any ideas must appreciated.

Try the all-in-one installer.

http://glameow.dyndns.org:1000/repo/SimpleTremSetup.exe (http://glameow.dyndns.org:1000/repo/SimpleTremSetup.exe)

EDIT: Could I have a mod sticky the above link somewhere, it has been tested on XP and Win 7.

virus alert !

Sax: don't think that a stupid installer thingy will help to fix errors that exist probably on certain maps or due to certain pk3 files.

Yeah, show me proof and not a false-positive.

Sax, it would be more helpful if you provide more information. It looks like this error should only occur when receiving corrupt snapshots from the server, but what I see on other forums mentioning the same error seem to indicate it is specifically a problem with the map. Does this happen on all servers with all maps? If so, consider uninstalling and reinstalling. If not, more info is needed.
