Hey guys,
Ive been on Tremulous now for a while, and i have decided to take up map building. I downloaded Gtkradent 1.4... and i followed all instructions to get 'Tremulous' to work with the program, but it dosent seem to show Tremulous in the drop down Menu. I have gone threw the Instructions over and over and still cant get it.
Please assist me in any way possible.
Thanx

if its not in the list that means the 'game' file for trem is missing
-
ok, is that the 'the.game' file?
If so i have gone over this about 5x and it still wont work
-
Head on over to the sticky post here and take a look at the wiki.
If you follow it step by step and lay off the old version of GTKRadiant you might get somewhere .)

do u no if there is a site with GTKradient 1.4.0 already uploaded with tremulous in it?
:-?
-
i'll might have one up here tomorrow
ok you have 1.4 is the 'trem.game' file in the 'games' folder in GTKr 1.4 directory is it a '.game' file or is it actually 'trem.game.txt' ?
-
game.txt. It is in the Game folder, but there was another set of folders to be created (this has no relevence) but games folder was already was created and the others were not.
Do i have to change it when i go to;
File
Save as?
-
yes it should work if not.
im not sure right now, im on a mac. but i think you go to 'view' then 'folder options' then go to the second tab at the top and scroll down the list until you find 'show file extensions'
can some one clear me up on that?
-
ok i have gone to file/save as, and it has Save as type: Text Documents (*.txt) and there are other options in that drop down box, 'all types'...have no idea. Then there is a box underneath, Encoding: ANSI, Unicode, Unicode Big Endian or UTF-8.
Dose this make ne sence to you?

yes its all rubish ignore it.
just go to the 'txt' one or 'all file types' and save it as 'trem.game'
i'd rather go to the link and right click on it and 'save as' rename it from 'trem.xml' to 'trem.game' and click 'save'
heres one i just made for you...
Right Click Here (http://tremulous.net/users/jex/radical/win32/1.4/trem.game)
and 'save as' and save it as 'trem.game' on your desktop and move it into the game folder inside GTKR
*RULES*
this is a heads up... if you talk about GTKradient don't call it GTK call it GTKR or ppl will kill you.
