Hi guys some day i enter the tremulous and i have the problem my MOUSE ARE LAGGING but my game are 100% OK (mouse are laggin only if i enter the game ,in menu its lagging too) WHAT I NEED TO DO!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST
WANT PLAY TREMULOUS!!!
-
The mouse doesn't lag in windows? Then something about your autogen must be wrong. If you already deleted autogen from tremulous "base" folder, then some autogens are also in hidden folders.
-
Soo what i need to do?
-
Did you try increasing the sensitivity?
-
YES,i try to unistal and instal again, try to change settings, change qkey, autogen, files, and server.
-
In my experience bad performance will give you mouse lag; it's why I play horribly when I try Left 4 Dead 2, or Team Fortress 2. But if you're having trouble running Tremulous well enough to not be bothered by it, I can't think of anything obvious to solve it. A computer running Tremulous that badly will probably not use Windows Aero.. but I guess if it's an old XP installation it can be pretty slow (I'm assuming you use Windows).
You could try manually shutting down demanding processes, or you could reinstall XP, or you could install Linux (preferably with a lightweight desktop environment like LXDE or something).

trem runs decently on computers that fail to meet the minimum specs for flashplayer, on computers that display one frame per ten seconds of a 240 resolution video. considering trem's engine was written for circa 1999, performance should not be an issue.
the OP should try toggling vsynch.
and this http://www.ioquake.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=368
also, is the OP running in windowed mode? what resolution is the OP using? is the mouse usb, ps2, or (lol) serial?

Try play around with the following settings and see if that makes any difference.
seta m_yaw
seta m_pitch
seta cl_mouseAccel
seta sensitivity

First thing I need to know what do you mean by "lag."
"Lag" (not really) in this context could mean:
-Delay between moving the mouse and the actual guy turning on the screen (can be related to vsync and fps issues, since it takes a frame from receiving mouse input into the computer, then another for input into the program, then another for rendering effectively making it 3 frames delay, which annoys me most at low fps). This is also related to shooting, and the delay for the muzzle flare to appear along with its sound.
A potential fix for this is your CPU usage. Check your task manager or related to your OS, for tremulous' cpu priority. If its higher than 'normal' then that could be the cause (renders the game over keyboard input)
-Lag - The real thing, related to ping (shoot, there's a few msecs before a bullet hole or projectile to appear), fixed by joining a lower ping server
And just as the others said:
-Sensitivity (Move a lot, turns almost nowhere, or maybe the opposite, too high, small movements makes the intervals which you aim clearly visable and makes long range shooting annoying), can be fixed using menus or the cvar "sensitivity", "m_yaw", "m_pitch" although the last two - you don't want to touch.
-Mouse Acceleration (cl_mouseaccel - If above 0, the faster you move the mouse, the faster your guy turns than it should. Recommended '0', and if it's below '0' you're gonna get screwed when turning fast.
Macintosh users should put "raw input" [forgot cvar] or set their macintosh [system, not game] sensitivity to lowest to prevent mouse acceleration from effecting game. There's also a third-party program capable of hacking the mouse so the mouse doesn't have acceleration at any sensitivity)

lag its mean my mouse are jumping place by place here is video: http://www.facebook.com/groups/351845618222372/ (you must go down to 17.02.2013)

I still want one of them, since these gay optical mouses don't work on bumpy surfaces and shiny/clear surfaces...
Anyway cool boy, it appears you have fps spikes. Fps meters don't show fps spikes well. There is a way to fix it but i keep forgetting. One cause is just moving around the map where chunks of the map suddenly start being rendered.
As for the menus, well those animating things in the background make me lag a lot, so it's not just you. I generally don't use menus so, well i never really cared about it.
I join servers via apelsin and use the console to navigate around menus, except for building structures and evolving that aren't already pre-bound on my keyboard.

Screw expensive mice, I"m using a 12 EUR optical logitech and so far it is outlasting any expensive mouse I had before.
Spend some cash on a decent surface: currently, I'm using a Razer Sphex.

my microsoft laser mouse was like 28 dollars and i've had it for like 5 years and it's never missed a beat :) yes the nice shiny surface is kind of greasy and faded BUT it works great

12 EUR optical logitech
$5 Microsoft brand three-button optical mouse. It was great on my desk, until the mouse wheel screws up so if i scroll down, it scrolls down and up to the same spot a gazillian times a second. My windows ME ball mouse does better.
