As Tremulous has been hanging around long enough to be called an antique by some, persisting in strange limbo-like state where it's argued whether the game is dead or not, I've wondered what other older games do people keep playing on their computers. What's the oldest game that you play occasionally on your PC, Mac, whatever.... ?
I still - a few times a year - want to play Forsaken, Fallout, and the original Starcraft.
-
A few weeks ago, I went to a retro LAN party. Played Unreal Tournament 2004, StarCraft, Call of Duty 2.
Sometimes I play Morrowind or Freelancer, and if I get really bored, I launch DOSBox for some Golden Axe.

Haven't gamed for a significant amount of time in ages. Come february 26th I'll return to my oldest and biggest hunting grounds in new form: Renegade (X) (http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-bLTYiaqqk&feature=c4-overview&list=UUaiic-yEcwEv8VG6wRaHcDQ"). Time to put those old teamwork strategies to the test again.
As for really old games. Minesweeper?

I played the following retro games in the last 6 months:
QW (Including Team fortress)
Q2 (both Q2 and gloom)
Q3:A (Mainly CPM only, stopped defrags cause that got boring)
V-Rally 2 Expert Edition
Sunday Panzers, I even edited the game itself for HD resolution for the heck of it
Steel Beasts
Tremulous (what's that?)
PzElite
Minesweeper
Pinball
Tetris
Space Invaders
PacMan
CS:S (My elder brother brought friends over for a LAN party which capped our internet, but when they were taking a break they played CS:S, gave it a shot, owned them ftw)
Urban terror
Super Mario (1) (I prefer SMB3 and SMB2 more, but I haven't touched them in the last 6 months so doesn't count)
Super Mario Frustration Forever (managed to get to fourth level only dying 10 or so times, then gave up... I used to be a Super Mario expert)
FamiTracker (Technically not a game, but a program for making retro music, and is actually capable of exporting NSF used for nintendo famicon games: https://soundcloud.com/zdrytchx/soundtrack-from-guess
Btw that soundtrack is from Shakugan no Shana)
space invaders

I have one of those portable 1000-in-one consoles with the brick screen, runs on two AA batteries. In reality ~700 of those games are tetris on different difficulties and starting layouts though.

I've been playing Rogue Squadron the past three days. I play through the original Zelda probably once a year. Sometimes I play chess though, which probably takes the cake for oldest. :P

My son plays Battle for Wesnoth, but I never could get into it.
He still plays Starcraft (the old one) too, and loves Assault Cube.

I recently lost the original starcraft and i was wondering how i could get it back. My PC crashed due to a bug and i did a system overhaul that led to the loss of this game. Otherwise that was my oldest game

Silent Hill. Lol. Surprisingly my old Playstation still works.
